Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and GulfAI (replace with your registered entity) ("GulfAI", "we", "us") covering your use of the GulfAI website and services at gulfai.com.

Software, not services. GulfAI is a self-serve software platform. We do not provide marketing, design, consulting, editing, or done-for-you production services. Everything you create is produced automatically by the platform from your own inputs.

Not affiliated with any social platform. We are not endorsed by or affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Snapchat, or any other platform. You are responsible for following their advertising and disclosure rules, including labelling AI-generated content where required.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use GulfAI for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for that business.

You sign in with an email one-time code or Google. Keep access to your email secure — anyone who can sign in as you can spend your Gulf. You are responsible for activity under your account.

One account per person. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse free credits, share access, or breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

Gulf is our in-app credit. Different video styles and lengths cost different amounts of Gulf, and the exact cost is always shown before you generate.

• Top-up Gulf never expires. It is a one-time purchase and stays in your balance until you use it.
• Subscription Gulf (the monthly plans) resets each billing period and does not roll over unless we say otherwise on the plan page.
• Free Gulf is a one-time welcome grant, limited to one per person, and expires as stated in the app.
• Failed generations are refunded to your Gulf balance automatically.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change. We will not change the price of a credit balance you have already bought.

Purchases are handled by our Merchant of Record, Sold through Link, LLC f/k/a Lemon Squeezy LLC (Lemon Squeezy), a Stripe company, which is the legal seller of record for your purchase. It processes the payment, issues your receipt, and calculates, collects, and remits applicable sales tax or VAT. Our own terms (this document) govern your use of the software; the Merchant of Record's terms govern the transaction itself.

GulfAI never sees or stores your full card details.

Unused top-up Gulf can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, less any Gulf you have already spent. Subscription payments are refundable within 14 days if you have used fewer than the Gulf included in that period. Used Gulf is not refundable, because the compute has already been consumed on your behalf.

To request a refund, email support@gulfai.com from the address on your account, or use the customer portal link in your receipt. The Merchant of Record may also issue refunds at its discretion, for example where a payment was fraudulent or a product breached its terms.

You own what you create. Subject to these Terms, you keep your rights in the videos you generate and may use them commercially, including in paid ads.

You must have the rights to everything you upload. By uploading an image you confirm that you are the person in it, or that you have that person's written permission — and the written permission of a parent or guardian if they are under 18. You must not upload public figures, celebrities, or anyone else's face. You must not use GulfAI to impersonate anyone or create misleading content.

You are responsible for what you generate and publish. That includes the accuracy of your product claims, compliance with advertising law in the countries you target, and compliance with the rules of any platform you publish to. You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy.

Our cast is AI-generated. The star images in the product are AI-generated characters that we own or license. They do not depict real people. You may use videos featuring them, but you may not scrape, download, or reuse the star images outside the product, or use them to build a competing service.

To run the service we need a limited licence to process what you upload and generate: to store it, send it to our AI processing providers, produce the output, deliver it back to you, and keep the record needed for your account and our legal obligations. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not sell it.

We may keep generation records (script, settings, timestamps, cost, moderation result) to operate the service, prevent abuse, and meet our compliance duties. See our Privacy practices for details.

Generations are automatically screened against a watch list. Most content is accepted automatically. Content that matches a watch list is flagged for review and may be removed. Our underlying AI providers also apply their own safety filters and may refuse a generation.

We are not obliged to pre-screen every generation, but we may review, remove, or refuse content at any time, and we may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Any user can report a video using the report button on it.

We respect intellectual property and personal likeness rights. If you believe content on GulfAI infringes your copyright, or depicts you (or someone you represent) without consent, send a notice to dmca@gulfai.com including:

• Your name, address, phone and email.
• Identification of the work or the person depicted, and of the content you want removed (a link or the video ID).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

We remove or disable access to reported content promptly and notify the account holder, who may submit a counter-notice. We keep a record and apply a repeat-infringer policy: accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated. Because we are the platform, notices about purchases or the Merchant of Record's own services should go to the Merchant of Record.

Your use is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which lists prohibited content and behaviour. It exists in part because our payment processors require it. Breaching it can get your account suspended without notice.

You agree to defend and indemnify GulfAI (replace with your registered entity), its directors, employees and service providers against claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: content you uploaded or generated; your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy; your breach of any law or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or likeness rights; and any claim by a person depicted in content you uploaded.

We aim to keep GulfAI running but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, add, or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. Third- party AI providers, storage, and payment services are outside our control.

AI output is unpredictable. We do not warrant that a generation will look a particular way, be error-free, be unique, or be fit for a particular purpose. Outputs may not be unique and similar outputs may be generated for others. GulfAI is provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim implied warranties to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in GulfAI is legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for ensuring your ads comply with the rules of the platforms and countries you publish in.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GulfAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or USD 50.

You can stop using GulfAI at any time and cancel a subscription from the customer portal in your receipt. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe your use is unlawful or creates risk for us, our providers, or other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will ask you to accept it again before you continue using the service. The "last updated" date above always shows the current version.
